Beach with the Boys!

We stole away to the beach last weekend. What fun! OK the boys came down with high fevers, ear and throat infections, which were not fun, but … it was still the beach so how bad could it be.

The boys loved digging in the sand and were hard at work the whole time, even despite illnesses.

Timmer loved taking a break to nap with Papa and eating ice cream sandwiches.

Both were fully committed to bringing every drop of the Pacific up to our spot in the sand. Mostly it was just a lot of fun to be together, enjoying the beach.


And naturally the sunsets over the Ecuadorian beach didn’t disappoint.

Yes, I'm still trying to capture our little men on their month "birthdays", but it is increasingly difficult to catch them both sitting still and looking presentable.

Here are a few shots I took to mark Jacob turning two years and eight months, and Timothy 17 months.

Yes, I'm willing to us popcorn as a bribe, and allow them to eat on the steps all for the sake of this exercise.
