Christmas

We were so delighted to host Santiago’s parents for Christmas. We were so grateful to have family as we celebrated our first Christmas in Quito (as opposed to fighting the airports in the US!). With 70+ degree temperatures, we couldn’t complain.

In Sedaca tradition, we enjoyed fondue on Christmas eve. The newest Sedaca (still holding this title until his triplet cousins arrive), Timothy, got right into the swing of things with his fork!

We put out cookies, milk, and water for Papa Noel and his reindeers.

Naturally, all enjoyed opening gifts. Jacob got a new bike, as requested from Papa Noel. (He didn’t get the motorcycle that he asked for. But he agreed to wait until he’s 8.) The boys got a hamster…

Christmas day was another feast (you’ll see the trend of conversation about food!) with turkey, stuffing, and the works. And yes, imported directly from the US of A, cranberry sauce with ridges!! We were delighted.
